Singer/songwriter Megan Nicole is a pop artist known for her YouTube cover videos and melodic, dance-oriented songs. Born Megan Nicole Flores in Houston, Texas in 1993, Nicole first became interested in music around age 10 while playing with a home karaoke machine. This early discovery blossomed into a passion and by her teens, Nicole was singing in her church choir and playing guitar in a church band. In 2009, she began uploading cover song videos to YouTube, beginning with Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody." She developed a large following; a fan base that grew as she collaborated with other video performers including Conor Maynard, Lindsey Stirling, Tiffany Alvord, and others. In 2011, Nicole released her own debut single, "B-e-a-utiful," online, which quickly garnered millions of views.
