Acerca de Morgan Page
American DJ, musician, and producer Morgan Page established himself in the electronic community throughout the mid-2000s, releasing a series of house singles for a wide variety of labels while remixing tracks for artists like Terry Lee Brown, Jr. and Ashlee Simpson. He became more widely known after his 2009 collaboration with folksinger Lissie, "The Longest Road," earned him his first Grammy nomination. Subsequent albums like 2012's In the Air and 2015's DC to Light continued to cement Page's reputation, leading to major festival appearances around the world, residencies in Las Vegas, and a long-running Sirius XM weekly radio show.nnA Vermont native, Page began making electronic music at the age of 12. After gaining the attention of jockeys at local free-form radio stations, Page -- prior to graduating from high school -- began DJ'ing himself on the University of Vermont's station. There, his horizons and knowledge about dance music broadened significantly, especially when it came to house. After taking up an internship at the Plastic City label, Page initiated a steady release schedule that saw a handful of 12" singles scattered each year from 2000 through 2006. In addition to appearing on labels like Nordic Trax, Fiji, Bedrock, Saw, LowDown, and Force Tracks, Page remixed singles for Alanis Morissette and Men, Women & Children. Nettwerk took note and signed Page for the release of 2008's Elevate, a collection of remixes and original songs. The following year he collaborated with folksinger Lissie on the single "The Longest Road," which was nominated for a Grammy Award.nn As his reputation grew with 2010's Believe and a second Grammy nomination for his remix of Nadia Ali's "Fantasy," he continued to tour, making festival appearances at Coachella and Electric Zoo and headlining A-list clubs. His fourth album, In the Air, arrived in 2012, and the title track reached number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart. He held down a three-year residency at The Wynn in Las Vegas, then moved to Light at Mandalay Bay just prior to the release of his fifth album, 2015's DC to Light, which featured guest appearances from Angela McCluskey and Lissie. Over the next three years, Page returned his focus to releasing singles, collaborating again with Lissie on 2016's "Don't Give Up," with Steve James on the 2017 hit "Candles," and with Jayceeoh and Kaleena Zanders on 2018's "Lost Dreams." The Born to Fly EP and the solo single "Let You Go" also saw release in 2018. ~ Andy Kellman & Timothy Monger
