Acerca de Barns Courtney
Rock troubadour Barns Courtney is the former frontman of SleeperCell, a band that once impressed judges (members of Blur and Kenickie) on the televised British talent competition Orange UnsignedAct.
∙ Courtney was working at a computer shop when he got the news that his first solo single, “Fire,” had been selected for the Bradley Cooper film Burnt.
∙ In 2017, he appeared in Charli XCX’s video for “Boys,” alongside Diplo, Stormzy, Joe Jonas, Joey Bada$$, Mark Ronson, and Ezra Koenig.
∙ Following the release of his debut album, The Attractions of Youth, Courtney dropped the single "Sinners," which he cowrote with The Libertines’ Carl Barât.
∙ Aside from his solo work, he’s featured on songs by EDM producer Steve Angello (“Dopamine”) and rave veterans The Prodigy (“Give Me a Signal”).
