Acerca de Beabadoobee
The Filipino-born singer-songwriter beabadoobee (born Bea Kristi) grew up in London and began playing guitar and writing songs at age 17.
∙ In 2017, her first original song, “Coffee,” became a surprise hit after going viral on social media.
∙ She signed a record deal in 2018 with indie label Dirty Hit, which released her debut EP, Lice.
∙ Although Kimya Dawson and Elliott Smith influenced her early songwriting, Sonic Youth and Pavement provided the inspirations for the grunge-flavored EP Space Cadet.
∙ In 2019, she was nominated for a Brit Awards Rising Star honor.
