Acerca de Sammy Simorangkir
The public was introduced to the husky, soaring pipes of Sammy Simorangkir on the first season of Indonesian Idol in 2004. His early exit led him to join the band Kerispatih, and he spent a massive six years as their lead vocalist before departing in 2010. The Bandung-born singer’s solo work reveals that that he retains the ability to snake effortlessly around mellow, acoustic tracks like “Coba Ulangi”, symphonic ballads such as “Rela Kehilangan” and melodic pop grooves like “Dia”.
