Not By Works
Why can't you see that it not your deeds that get you into heaven?
No man is worthy enough to earn this Holy Blessing
No man is perfect, no man will ever be
That's why God sent His perfect Son to die for you and me.
In the days of sacrificing His life He sacrificed
Paying a debt for our sins, He died to give us life
Though He was innocent, He had a deep love for us all
Only the Son of God could justify our downfall.
By faith, and not by deeds
By faith, and not by works
By grace is how Jesus Christ chose to save us all.
It's not by deeds
It's not by works
It's all by faith
It's all by grace
It's all by God's love that He chose to give us salvation
and free our souls from all the debts of sin.
