Dear Ephesus

mona lisa had the beauty of an artist's stroke its poetry
all the wonder of the stars i see at night has blinded me
the mountains cry and streams come forth with life this world's alive
amazingly it looks too good the picture settled in my view
what i find i cannot hide a glory settled in my mind
what is man that you have found the time to set your mind on him

oh the magic in a touch from your hand is found so grand
and all the wonder that has sparked my eyes to see this liberty
sculpted oh so graciously i see you in me
how grand the view seated next to you all said is true

the curtain rises faithfully set beneath the skies
a glory that has seen no match and filled the earth with love
creations grandest spectacle is Jesus

so many thoughts racing through my head
raised from the dead that's what i've heard that's what they've said
no words could explain the life that's in your name
now that you've found me
