Dreaming with Our Feet
Turn off the TV and put down your phone
It's getting late now
Too late for thinking
The light from the cool summer night here
Is never ending
And I feel like dancing
This is what we made on our own
And I don't want to talk anymore
Stars whisper their schemes
And on this little porch we're starting to dream
With our feet
The newspaper's full of things I don't want to read
I'm feeling tired
And it's much too late for thinking
But one thing's for sure, in the countryside
I don't need the city lights
It's you I'm always needing
