Fractal Noise
Daisy face, do you hear the fractal noise inside your ears?
Listen close to the bees, they buzz at sacred frequencies
For I am but a whisper in the morning air, that you say blows back your hair
Time is sweet and quick like silver, earth's very own thermometer
She's pulling petals in her sleep
Waking up hairless next to me
If I could dust off the voices in your head
And throw up the noise, let's get you back to bed
And darling dear, you pierce your ears with metal and words from second hand fears like
Horror stories and Armageddon, if only someone could make it clear
But don't resist the forces of nature
'Cause all that we are is a drop of water
In a racing current, in this single ocean
Kicked up by waves back onto us
She's pulling petals in her sleep
Waking up hairless next to me
If I could dust off the voices in your head
And throw up the noise, let's get you back to bed
Daisy face, do you hear the fractal noise inside your ears?
