Holy Sparrow
There's a tale of a holy sparrow
How they came to lose their wings
How the skies betrayed them
Leaving only songs to sing
All the saddest songs they'd sing
Sight was gifted unto sparrow
All the things they could see
The moon the stars
Mothers and the babes
They sadly watched from far away
Always watching from far away
May the wind take me tomorrow
For to fly in bluest skies
Wrapped in feathers
