Hurricane Season
Well they say that a storm is a brewin'
It hits the east coast
They told us to evacuate
And clear out all the roads
The water is a' risin'
And destroying all our homes
The wind came in and swept away
Our cars and our control
And with one fell swoop our work was destroyed
Our progress was in vain and was void
It took us so much time to build
So much time out in the sun
Well our innocence was stolen by death
The hurricanes destroy what is left
It took us this time to build what we've made
But now we evacuate it in vain
Well Jesus is coming, He comes for us soon
To save us from all the swirling monsoons
The storm that rages is fierce
But not as fierce as the storm that rages

And floods to Mexico

It fills us to the brink

The you better change what you think
