Treading water
Gasping for air
Lost and stranded
Going no where
Nothing accomplished
No one cared
I should have tried harder
But I was scared
I'm not afraid to die
I'm just afraid that it will hurt

Before my body hits the dirt

Broken and frayed
Misunderstood
Bitter and betrayed
They say that life sucks
Then you die
There's really no need
