Slightly used
Ragged edges
On a well worn pair of shoes

And this stuttered walk
And this back that stoops and sways
It's not how I used to be
Must be something I picked up along the way

In need of TLC
A fixer-upper
Filled with possibilities
Needing parts
Someone handy with their tools
Instructions have gone missing
Current owner's got the blues
It's got a horn that wavers
Like a dull and rusty blade
And a choking motor
With it's bleary eyed facade
It's not how the engine used to run
