Star-Spawn
Silently the form thickens
Translucent scales form sheets of skin
Shoreless sea twists around itself
Traces of mercury shimmer in sulphurous currents
Mist settles
Creates a layer of living floor
That twists in waves
Inside the waves
Under the waves
from the rift beyond the stars
fell the ancient seed
drifting through the icy void
within the stony tomb
asleep for aeons in the dark
frozen out of time
till lured by the sphere of light
into the great forge
Waves crash to the dead soil
Mindless souls gather
Smashing the rock with immense power
