The apple tree
The apple tree
Sunny day in June
Im sitting in my garden
Listening to singing birds
And kids coming out of school yelling
While Im watching my flowers underneath the apple tree
Thinking about which Im going to pick
For the beautiful lady who I love for so many years
All the flowers they are beautiful
Like shining pearls in the summer sun
Mother nature made them in a beautiful way
Oh, which would she like best
Only the choice now is left
When you come into my garden
Youre not gonna believe what you see
All the flowers underneath the apple tree
Each her own beauty
Each her own colour
Yes there flowers in my garden
All loved by you and me
But theyre not for a million
Neither for free
If you take a look in my garden
Youll see flowers everywhere
But the rose will catch your eye
Standing there in all his beauty and pride
With his leaves pointing into the sky
Am I wrong or am I right
When I say that this is the one
But suddenly I hesitate
Cause all the other flowers
They look also great
When you come into my garden
Youre not gonna believe what you see
All the flowers underneath the apple tree
Each her own beauty
Each her own colour
Yes there flowers in my garden
All loved by you and me
But theyre not for a million
Neither for free
Rainy day in March
Im sitting in my kitchen
Listening to the whittling wind
And raindrops splitting on the window
Watching my flowers underneath the apple tree
Theres no more need to think about which Im going to pick
For the beautiful lady
All the flowers they are disappeared in the winter
Mother nature made them all fade away
Except for one
The rose is still standing up strong
Maybe tomorrow Ill put her in a vase
Oh, which would she like best?
Oh, no more choice is left.
When you come into my garden
Theres one flower youll see
Its seems to be more empty
Underneath the apple tree
Appearances are deceptive
Thats for sure
You see less but you feel more
Theres only one to adore
