I made a deal today
Not to throw it all away
And to rejoice in my life
I saw the light
But then it faded into night
Again the world seemed duller
And I lost sight of colour
I had a drink today
Much like any other day
I couldn't sink much lower
Obsessed by health
Again I doubt myself
My heart starts beating faster
And breathing gets much harder
The future ever darker
Now it's clear I've got the fear
And I think it's killing me
