Time Bandits
Quit smokin' baby, even though the world is endin'
Keep lookin', maybe there's a place to rest our heads better than this
You'll find the hardest part's the mark you didn't make
Wake up and savor that disoriented feelin' that you're feelin'
In between dreamin' and the eventual day
Longer you stave it off the more it benefits the heart
And then we can go grayer than we have already gone
Let ourselves get dusty in the dark
Make an honest effort to breathe better than you do
So we can endeavor to get leathery together, me and you
Quit smokin' even though there's a pack still in your pocket
The world's on fire outside but I double-locked the doors with poly-carbon bars
I heard the hottest part's the start
So if time gets us then I don't want to spend any apart
'Til it catches us, we'll collect dust in the dark
