Interlude 3
While the singer of "Horniest Kid in School", seventeen-year-old Eddie O'Dell, went on to become one of the most famous teen idols of his era, few people have heard of the song's author, fifty-nine-year-old World War I veteran, Klaus Steiner. Despite graduating summa cum laude from Juilliard with a degree in classical symphonic theory, Steiner is most known for penning such hits as "She Came from Planet Hula-Hoop", and "Riding Around in My Big Red Car". He continued to compose until his untimely death in 1972 when he thrust himself from the top of the Sydney Opera House.
