A Drop In The Ocean
It's on the nights the sky is close to me
It's when I walk alone downtown
The lights above, anchored invisibly
The air is thick and stifles sound
and I still can't hear the knocking door I'm told so much about
and I cannot find a cure for all this doubt
but I feel a little further from obscurity
and content with where I stand upon the ground
