I was up in Virginia at a place called Pappa Joe's
I looked across the dance floor saw a girl I didn't know
I was really showing off when I took her by the hand

I monkeyed with another monkey's monkey and I met a gorilla man
We were really turning it on and boy I was having some fun
And that's when I discovered I was a holding that gorilla man's hon
We were out on the dance floor when I happened to look around
I saw this gorilla coming towards us
He must of weighed three hundred pounds
I had a lot of time to think it over lying in this hospital bed
I monkeyed with another monkey's monkey
And her gorilla whupped upon my head
