I bite with broken teeth, I speak in vile tongues
I taste my rotten breath, escape my dirty lungs
But this angry misanthrope can still hold on to hope
Because some would kill to be, this sheltered weakling
All I see is half the world dying to be free of
Poverty and tyranny
Everyday around the world, families are fleeing war
Smuggled out on crowded boats to reach a safer shore
You read it in the papers, and you don't feel a thing
It's easier to ignore people suffering
Just do nothing, it's that easy, don't affect me
WHAT THE FUCK?
Humanity: means nothing, if we just let them die
Humanity: worth nothing, if we don't even try
Through a lack of empathy
You see what I see, and hear what I hear
There's blood on our hands and you don't seem to care
The suffering, is fucking real
