Thank You Mom

Since the day that I was born,
Sometime in the early morn'
You were right there keeping me warm
You are an angel to behold
More precious than wealth or gold
A miracle, double fold

Throughout my childhood years,
Through the laughter and the tears
The monsters in my nightmares, you made them disappear
You helped me through my troubled teens
And my artistic dreams
you've been a goddess supreme

You've been my shelter from wind and rain
You protected me from hurt and pain
And there are not enough words to explain
How I thank you

You helped me through my college days,
Singing lessons and school plays
You were the greatest teacher, full of so much praise
And when I went out on my own
Touring the world, alone
My heart wasn´t far from home

I made mistakes and made them well,
You helped me up each time I fell
You've been my motivation to excel
Throughout my life you've been a pearl
A priceless jewel in my world
And I'm so proud to be your girl

You've been my shelter from wind and rain
You protected me from hurt and pain
And there are not enough words to explain
How I thank you

You were always there, the queen of queens
The brightest star I've ever seen
There unconditionally
Givin the world to me
And I will thank you for an eternity

You've been there through good and bad
You even made me smile, when I was sad
You're the greatest love, I've ever had
And Mom, I thank you
And I love you
