Til the Morning

In the trees the storm begins to blow Straining branches stroke the land below.
Can you feel the rain's about to come? Breaking our defences where it runs.
We asked for this, we let it in and now we're overcome

If you hold me tight then maybe we can ride it
If you let me go I don't think we'll survive it Will we wake up to a bright new day
Or will we wake to see the forests falling? We won't know until the morning

When we first began this, skies were blue
Happiness and sunlight all we knew
It was fine but then we just got bored We craved the dark, we summoned up those storms
There's no way back, nowhere to hide, so please let me inside
