The wind on our skin (B.T.)

The wind on our skin
in our hair, in
our mouths, our nostrils.
The wind blowing into our wide-open eyes.
The wind on houses,
windows, doors
through locks,
between bars on balconies
and crevices,
and in narrow streets.

The wind that sweeps
along the town streets
and tangles your hair,
and mine.

The wind that gets inside
our bodies.

And you and I walking
against the wind.
