With their slapstick style of punk and power pop, the quintet of Hundred Million Martians brought on their uppity influence of the Ramones to their Arctic native of Turku, Finland. Consisting of Jyrki Mäkelä (vocals), Seppo Lehdonkivi (guitar), Tuomas Pelttari (guitar), Pasi Hjerppe (bass), and Jarkko Lehti (drums), Hiljaiset Levyt Records eventually released their debut full-length Martian Arts in 1997, followed by their second album Mars Bars two years later. ~ Mike DaRonco
