Based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canadian decibel pushers Structures specialize in a punishing blend of tech-heavy hardcore and inventive and kinetic progressive metal. Formed in 2009 around the talents of guitarist Spyros Georgiou, guitarist/vocalist Brendon Padjasek, and drummer Andrew McEnaney, the band issued a five-song EP called All of the Above at the end of their inaugural year. After inking a deal with Sumerian Records, Structures began work on their full-length debut, 2011's Divided By. Life Through a Window, the group's sophomore outing, followed in early 2014. ~ James Christopher Monger
