A Canadian heavy metal outfit based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Unleash the Archers deliver a lethal fusion of melodically charged death, thrash, and power metal that invokes names like the Agonist, Blind Guardian, and Kobra & the Lotus. Founded in 2007 and fronted by powerhouse vocalist Brittney Hayes, the quintet also features the talents of Scott Buchanan, Grant Truesdell, Andrew Kingsley, and Nikko Whitworth. Unleash the Archers released their full-length debut, Behold the Devastation, independently in 2009. The group turned heads in 2011 with the science fiction-themed concept LP Demons of the Astrowaste, which they quickly followed up with a three-song EP, Defy the Skies, in 2012. Three years later the band inked a deal with Napalm Records and released their third studio long-player, Time Stands Still. Apex, also released via Napalm, followed in 2017. ~ James Christopher Monger
