About La Sobrecarga
Argentinean goth rock band formed in 1983 by singer and guitarist César Dominici, bass player Guillermo Robles, drummer Gustavo Collado, guitarist Horacio Villafañen, and percussionist Pablo Palezza. La Sobrecarga started playing at their native Trenque Lauquen, keeping an underground identity until the release of their first album in 1986, which includes the band's first hit "Viajando Hacia el Este." In 1987, la Sobrecarga reached one of its goals, opening to the Cure while the British act was doing a worldwide tour. That same year, Mentirse y Creerse was released, having Daniel Melero playing keyboards. 1994's Shock Eléctrico reunited la Sobrecarga's best songs.
