About Silvia & Karmen
Mexican indie pop duo Silvia & Karmen was formed in Xalapa (Veracruz) in 2009 by Silvia Siu and Karmen Parroquín. After casually meeting at a restaurant where both were performing as singers, Siu and Parroquín decided to join forces and soon began uploading their cover versions of other artists on YouTube. Writing their own material, the duo issued their first album, Voy a Atreverme, in 2012. In 2014, they wrote "Lo Imposible no Existe," the official song for the XXII Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe that took place that year in Veracruz. Silvia & Karmen returned in 2016 with the EP Uno Punto y Guión. Another EP, Seremos Gigantes, appeared in 2017.
