About Sinead Harnett
London native Sinead Harnett, inspired at a young age by the likes of Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, as well as Lauryn Hill's role in Sister Act 2, got a foothold in the music industry through a series of collaborations during the early 2010s. In 2012, she made a small splash as the featured vocalist on "Boiling," the dreamlike lead track on Disclosure's The Face EP, and sounded like a confident veteran. The following year, she contributed to Kidnap Kid's "So Close" and Ryan Hemsworth's "Small + Lost," but she also made her solo debut on Black Butter with "Got Me," a track that was remixed by MK (Marc Kinchen, who had taken Storm Queen's "Look Right Through" to the top of the U.K. pop chart). More notably, Harnett was featured on three of the tracks on Rudimental's U.K. number one album Home: the title track, "Hide," and "Baby." Harnett's collaborative work continued well into 2014 with DJ Q's "Notice Me" and Snakehips' "Days with You." She signed to Virgin EMI in the U.K. and released a four-track EP of her own, N.O.W., which featured a track produced by Snakehips, as well as sophisticated pop in the forms of "Paradise" and "High Wire." A self-titled EP featuring collaborations with Grades, Kaytranada, and Snakehips arrived in 2016. The following year, Harnett issued the Chapter One mixtape, followed by the sultry single "Lessons." ~ Andy Kellman
