About Mayonnaise
Frontman and lead guitarist Monty Macalino’s vision of catchy choruses drenched in woolly fuzz riffs has endured since Mayonnaise debuted in 2002. After several lineup changes and much-feted LPs, the band outgrew their grungy roots to become a force in OPM, and have embraced the many facets of rock—from the intimate to the arena-worthy, and even the cleverly tongue-in-cheek as an extra ‘alt’ to their brand of moody alt-rock. The English and Tagalog anthems on 2016’s For the Rest of My Life are a go-to for the full axe-slinging Mayonnaise songcraft.
