• Rexx Life Raj draws a great deal of influence from his family. His mother sang in a gospel quartet, and his father was affiliated with the Black Panthers.
• He started making his own music in middle school and also excelled at football, earning a scholarship to Boise State.
• The singer-rapper debuted in 2014 with a pair of EPs: Portraits and Hidden Clouds.
