About Sierra Kidd
Sierra Kid is an introspective, down-to-earth rapper from the northwestern German town of Emden. Born Manuel Jungclassen, he developed his rhyming style by studying recordings of German artists such as Kool Savas and MoTrip, as well as those of Drake. A video he uploaded to YouTube in early 2013 took a while to catch on, but some contemporary rappers took notice, as did the Indipendenza label, who eventually signed its maker. Kopfvilla, Sierra Kid's debut EP, was released near the end of that year. The album Nirgendwer followed in 2014. At the time of its release, Sierra Kid was still a teenager. ~ Andy Kellman
