After the demise of the art punk troupe of Abaisser, former bassist Davey Schultz and drummer Damon Smith got together with John Meredith (vocals/ guitar) in 1998 to form Someday I. Based out of Colorado, the three-piece resulted in an aggressive post-punk that eventually captured the attention of Owned and Operated Records. After the release of their 1999 debut album, Look Up and Live, Someday I hit the road with the likes of Burning Airlines and Juno. Following the release of Ref 4 in 2002, the band embarked on the O&O Motor Memory Tour with All, Armstrong, and Wretch Like Me. ~ Mike DaRonco
