Born in Guadalajara, in the Mexican state of Jalisco, Latin pop singer Adrianna Foster has been singing since the age of three. By the time she was in grammar school, Foster had won her first talent competition, a feat that opened the door to various invitations to perform at festivals and other functions. After an opportunity to perform with a latter-day incarnation of legendary vocal group the Platters, Foster took vocal coaching lessons, as well as courses in bass, guitar, and sound engineering. Following an internship as an audio tech and another talent-show win, Foster joined Stinky Cows, a group in her native Guadalajara. At the end of 2005, she graduated with a degree in sound engineering and production from the SAE Institute in Miami, FL. All of the above set the stage for her debut, 2008's Esperandote, which yielded "Pienso en Ti," Foster's first Top 25 hit on the Latin pop airwaves. ~ Andree Farias
