Trekk is none other than Ricardo Treviño, bassist and founding member of Panda. Widely regarded as one of the most important Mexican rock bands of the new millennium, Panda was formed in 1996 in Nuevo León, issued its debut, Arroz con Leche, in 2000 and achieved massive recognition in 2005 with Para Ti con Desprecio. Ten years and several albums later, Panda announced an indefinite hiatus so that its members could explore other creative endeavors. Treviño decided to try his luck as a solo artist under the name Trekk. In April 2017, he released the single "Sin Antes Suplicar," later included on his first EP, El Viejo Lobo de Mar.
