Battery Acid
Pumped full
Of sulfuric acid
My punishment
For disdain of the masses
No room for emotions
In this rigid place
Now they have to be erased
So much distraction
In the world
That the silence
Can't be heard
Not a quiet moment
For reflection
To contemplate
Something different
But my will
