Brown Leaves
Running on autumn rails
Dust on heels to cover your trails
Longest light is fading
Now brown leaves at your station
Leaving for reason untold
Tasking his living unfold
Is he as peace to step on his lease?
Only he knows
And forward he goes
Heading up empty rows
Where cracks show only he knows
Never more awaiting
Soft warm wind abating
