Is there any way to tell between confidence and a compulsive rush to your own defence?
Sometimes finding answers only leads you to feel you are more confused
But if that's what you try to do
It's ok to chase a dream up against the odds
Give it all you've got
It's alright to stand behind the good you want to last
Even when you see the glass is not half full
But don't be delusional
There's gonna come a time when you have to make a choice
Between eternal silence and using your voice
But there should be a difference between speaking your mind and not making sense
So if there hasn't been yet
It's ok to chase a dream up against the odds
Give it all you've got
It's fair to be convinced there's only one right path, if you just remember every other way
You might change your mind someday
It's alright to stand behind the world you want to last
While everybody's saying that it's impossible
But don't be delusional
