Endless Night Away
The first thing that I see are the wings of a butterfly
And then there is a fox waiting for me nearby
I am in a dark room really deep long and wide
The fox come to me, she said: I am your guide
Then white she became, and turns into a flame, it comes the light
I see trees of mud and roads made of gold
And castles of diamonds steady and cold
I see white faces staring into the street
And some voices talking, and some other repeat
A little breath of wind and the flame turn and glimpse
The hall change size
And the candle still light the way, in the air she dance and play
Leading this endless night away
And old and dusty chamber with a paint on the floor
A man turn three cards: one eye, two horses and a closed door
I don't know what it mean and two cards are still to see
When the candle shake and trim and I am under the sea
I see the mighty wall while I start to fall, towards the sky
And the candle still light the way, in the air she dance and play
Leading this endless night away
The Earth runs away and I leave her far behind
I see planets and stars and a darkness so deep that makes you blind
After what I think was years I pass through the end
What I see is a grain of sand, in a desert of an endless land
Light grows over me, until I can't even see: open your eyes
