I finally found out
I guess I was lying through my teeth
And all these words that slurred
Could never mean as much from me
I finally got out
Took the time to catch my breath
And made damn sure to see you off

But all these words were just as wrong
As they had ever been
So I finally dropped out

I'm finding the words that I couldn't speak

Waiting around in this house for weeks

I found my place buried in history
While I found myself
You were slipping away from me
You can find my words
Written on your skin
I can hold my tongue
But this never comes easy
