From Child to Man
Long time ago hidden in darkest mist
Stood the edge of time
It bore us all
And we reached out into space
When the saplings broke from brownest earth
Man looked out on time
We forged our tools
And we reaped all from the land
Is life only what we've made?
Is life only what we own?
Does life span from dial and hand?
Is life measured from child to man?
As we ventured out yonder world
Carved it out of stone
We thought it ours
And we gazed at what we done
