I Fly, I Soar
My lonely place is here in my own mind
Contained by demons I know well
How does it feel inside?
Let's just say I believe in hell
But there is something I learned long ago
This prison door, it has a key
I find someone outside
And lift them to my side
That's when the demons hide
That's why I know
I fly, I soar
I know I'm more
There's more
Not only can I reach outside
I can lock myself back in as well
But pain can be defied
By helping pain subside
In those found by my side
And in their glow
I fly, I soar
When they are more
The way is sure
I fly, I soar
Though my demons stay
I know they won't go away
But I have learned to fly
