Little Dobby Does It

Well I'd like to tell you a story now
'bout a little creature who toils in the kitchens there at Hogwarts
Dobby's the name

He's a helpful little fella
This extraordinary little cellar dweller
Wears eight hats on his head
'Scaped the Malfoy house else he might be dead

So when Umbridge was being mean
And Harry's rolodex was a little lean
Who could he turn to for help?
And that's when this elf jumped down from his shelf
He told Harry about a door
So hidden he wouldn't be bothered no more and
That's when we knew
That Little Dobby Does It

Go!
Go Dobby!

When Dobby appeared on the scene
The Malfoys were treating him mean
He'd slam his fingers with a frying pan
His knuckles in the door

But Harry he knew magic well
With a gift he broke Dobby's spell
And Dobby got free agency to go out and explore

But loyal house elves have got nowhere to be
They waded through the hats and socks left by Hermione
And toiling in the kitchen Dobby never felt more free

And that's just the sort of stuff
You'll find that house elves have got enough
They move at a steady speed
And a friend in need is a friend indeed
So when Harry's in a tournament
And underwater's where is journey went
Harry needs the gillyweed
And Little Dobby Does It

Go!
Go Dobby!

Keep Going!

Tenacious!
Outrageous!
Courageous!

Go Dobby!

(laugh)
You Can Do it!

Little Dobby Does It

The moral of the story
Is house elves aren't in it for glory
They're just a loyal bunch
And I have a little hunch that
Should Dobby appear in the night
Everything will go all right
You've never seen such a sight
As when Little Dobby Does It

Go!
Go Dobby!
Little Dobby Does It
