Our Job
I woke up one morning just when the sun caught my face
And I was in awe of what this day might bring for me
A part of me wanted so badly to be in control
But I felt drawn by the light to let go and let life live
Cause it's not our job to rule and control our lives
It is a total waste of all we've got stored inside
Our true task is just to be a source on earth
For the flow that makes us breath and gives us birth
I wanna catch each moment like a newborn child
I wanna seize the day, with no strings attached
I wanna feel the beauty each day that I live
To find myself in a place, where nothing and everything matters
Cause it's not our job to rule and control our lives
It is a total waste of all we've got stored inside
Our true task is just to be a source on earth
For the flow that makes us breath and gives us birth
