Regular Blokes
Texas-bound on the freeway, hunting down our own piece of this American Dream. One hand on the wheel, one hand catching the wind. We learned to drink from green bottles from one of our older friends. We made a lot of regrets that summer, we're taking them to our graves.
We were the punks your mother warned you about, the boys your girlfriend was checking out, now we're just regular blokes around town. We were the punks your mother warned you about, the boys your girlfriend was checking out, now we're just regular dudes.
I spent the better part of my twenties chasing white lines across America with the throttle wide open. I won't ever pretend that I'm too cool to sleep in a parking lot or get drunk with all my friends. I'll never let you control my life and baby that's just how it ends.
