And if the sun comes up tomorrow morning
Just let me know you're here
In your eyes the sun will rise
And dry up all your tears
The gentle touch of morning dew
As sunshine lights this day
Is all the years of hopes and fears
When life comes out to play
Sometimes in the morning when I wake up to the day
There's a thousand things that I had meant to do
I feel that I've been puttin' off the things I need to say
And once again the skies are shades of blue
