The Sun Comes up Again
A glow in the sky
Dim to the human eye
But right above horizon lines
The rays finally shining
And the night
It never felt quite right
The heart no longer aching
Now that day is finally breaking
Sure enough, the sun came up again
Start at the start
Go with an open heart
Your dreams suddenly nearing
As the day is reappearing
And sure enough, the sun comes up again
It's sure to offer some relief that
While you are fast asleep
That the world keeps spinning
The sunshine's working through the time zones
And glimmering for you just out of sight

Flowers close at night
But come out when they see the light
And warm their little faces in the daytime
We left it all a mess
It's time to shake the etch a sketch
Clear it off
And start it all again
Shouldn't be surprising
That it's finally arising
