Tooth Fairy Works Nights
Late at night when you're fast asleep
The phone call it rings down at the agency
There's a lost tooth now
The dispatcher cries
Takes a last gulp of coffee
Away she flies
It's happening, there's no doubt
And she'll sneak right in when the tooth comes out
Hangs by a thread, Can't handle it
But she's waiting right there with her catcher's mitt
She's on call
Waiting for the sign
That the tooth has sprung out from your mouth
Wants them all
But Tooth Fairy will take one by one
That fall out
It's alright, cause Tooth Fairy's workin' nights
First it's here, then it's gone
And you're looking all over the neighbor's lawn
Put it un der your pillow
And when you're finally sleepin, she's good to go
Creeping in
Looking for the prize
The tooth that fell out of your mouth
Reaches in
And Tooth Fairy will leave a coin on
Her way out
It's alright, cause Tooth Fairy's workin' nights
Every tooth she just might, cause Tooth Fairy's workin' nights
But later, as the sun rose
With pockets overflowing with teeth
This fairy, got down to business
With her collection beyond belief
Well she loves Halloween
More teeth than she's seen
Fears no cavities
In the nooks and crannies
When the teeth drop out
You've got a pumpkin mouth
And that's what Tooth Fairy's about
Gatherin' so many teeth
I've lost so many I can barely speak
Why's she need any more?
Maybe she's selling them all in her Etsy store
She's online
With teeth at every price
Some handmade gifts straight from your mouth
A goldmine
And Tooth Fairy will keep on arriving
When they're out
It's alright, cause Tooth Fairy's workin' nights
Every tooth she just might, cause Tooth Fairy's workin' nights
Disappears by daylight cause Tooth Fairy's done workin' tonight
