Well There we were,
Standin' on top of the world.
It's true what they say,
I wish I knew what I know now.
Taken it all in stride,
happy just going along for the ride.
it was a long time ago
but it feels like yesterday.
When you're on top of the world,
you can see above it all.
But it's a blinding light,
you just may loose sight.
Some find a way,
but for most it just slips away.
and leaves you just to look back
to a brighter day.
But still it's better, than to never
So much better, than to never..,
